Summer English Enhancement Program

The English summer enhancement program is designed to reinforce students’ essential skills for a successful transition into a high school-level class. To increase comprehension, students will practice critical reading techniques such as close reading, note-taking, and annotating. Additionally, students will incorporate writing tools to communicate, develop, and support ideas effectively in an organized and focused manner.

  • Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 am – 11:30 pm
  • Cost: $175.00
  • Dates: July 14 & 16, July 21 & 23, July 28 & July 30

Cancellation Policy

Fees will be refunded, minus a $10 cancellation fee, if the parent/guardian cancels more than a week before camp. No refunds are given if the student cancels within one week of camp start. If SHDHS cancels a camp, a full refund will be given.
