Summer Drama Camp

Campers will work on their craft of acting, singing, and dancing throughout the camp day. Campers will also learn the basic tools for acting, aspects of technical theater, and characterization. These sessions, intermixed with games and lessons, will culminate in a performance at the end of the camp on the stage of the Drees Homes Auditorium.

The performance will be held at 4:00pm on Friday, June 19th. It will be approximately 30 minutes long.

*If the Audition times do not work with your schedule, we will make separate arrangements for a video audition submission.
Audition Requirement: 1 minute of a song of the camper’s choice. Students are welcome to bring a CD for accompaniment or sing acapella. Must be appropriate.

  • Camp Ages: entering 2nd grade – 8th graders (including leaving 8th graders)

Cancellation Policy

Fees will be refunded, minus a $10 cancellation fee, if the parent/guardian cancels more than a week before camp. No refunds are given if the student cancels within one week of camp start. If SHDHS cancels a camp, a full refund will be given.
